Karen Stobbe will lead caregivers through a day of education and encouragement.
Topics for her sessions include:

• What Do I Need to Know about Dementia: Knowledge is Power
• ABCs of Communication: Making an Impact with Our Words
• Changing Our Behavior: It Makes a Difference

Karen Stobbe is our speaker for this wonderful day of learning and support. She has been a family caregiver for the last 30 years for her Dad and then her Mom, who lived with her family for 11 years.  Her passion has been to bring practical and real tips and tools to families to make everyone’s life easier.

Karen was the co-creator of the CMS Hand in Hand Training Program that went to every nursing home in the country. She was featured in Real Simple, Guideposts and Brain Health magazines, NPR’s This American Life, and was a speaker for the international TEDMED conference.

You will gather and leave with information and tools to put into practice right away.  Join us for a wonderful day of education and support!
