When Cheryl Blanchard, regional director, reached out to us in 2022 to join Alzheimer's Tennessee's inaugural Williamson County Walk to Make Alzheimer's a Memory, we knew we had to join the mission! Cheryl explained how Alzheimer's Tennessee's heart lies in giving back to individuals and families within the state of Tennessee. The funds raised are used for education, research for treatment and prevention of the disease, and to support those who have been directly impacted by Alzheimer's.

Since then, Touching Hearts has been a proud partner of Alzheimer's Tennessee and has been blessed by Cheryl and the team and the various services they offer. Cheryl has been a guest speaker at a Caregiver Meeting giving specialized training on Alzheimer's to our caregivers, and we have utilized workshops for our Caregivers, such as their Caring and Coping one. We have also been able to share more information and the 24/7 hotline with families of those clients who are living with Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's TN continues to be a resource of information for our caregivers and clients.

This year we will be out walking with them again on April 20, 2024, at their Williamson County Walk. Hundreds of our neighbors, many of whom have been touched by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, will gather for inspiration and celebration during the Walk to Make Alzheimer’s a Memory. Come out and support their mission with us over music and fun!
